SAL Squadron 347 News:
Legion Post 347 is inviting all Squadron 347 SAL members to attend our regular membership meeting on August 16th, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the Lomira Community Complex. If you know of any SAL members, please pass this along.
Dear Legion Members:
I hope to continue on in the tradition of the Legion in my new position as Commander of Post 347. I want to thank Dick for all his accomplishments over the last 3 years and wish him well in his new position as Adjutant/Finance Officer. We hope to come up with new ideas to continue with our Scholarship program and in our participation in support the Lomira community and of military funerals, parades and participation in veteran events. I look forward to all your support as I step in as Commander.
Hope to see you at our next meeting.
I want to thank all for their support the last 3 years while I was Commander. We were able to get through many tough situations especially with the shutting down of the kitchen and the sale of the building. I will be taking over the Adjutant/Finance Officer position to relieve Gil Ahtonen while he moves to 1st Vice Commander. I also will continue to maintain and add to our website. I ask all to welcome in Darryn Laitinen as our new Commander and offer him all your support and wish him well.
Past Post Commander
I also want to thank you for all of your support, patience and understanding over the last 9 years while I was Adjutant. I’m sure Dick Waechter will continue with improving the status of Adjutant, especially since everything is now being done on-line. I will be continuing to serve the Legion as 1st Vice Commander and chairperson of the Fund Raising Committee.
Past Adjutant/Finance officer
