SEP/OCT 2019 NEWSLETTER
This Newsletter is being mailed to all this month to include the NEW 2020 Membership cards for those that have renewed as of this mailing. This helps reduce cost so we don’t have to spend extra money on stamps and envelopes for those who have not renewed as of yet.
It has been decided that all monies originally given to American Legion Post 347 for the purchase of “BRICKS” is to be returned rather than use the money for other charitable purposes. We have begun returning all monies to those we have a name and address for. But, we do not have names and address for ALL that filled out applications for bricks. If you have not received a check for bricks that you purchased, you need to contact us with this information. We thank you for your patience.
Over half of Post 347 members have renewed their membership for the year 2020. The goal for Post 347 this year is 185 members. Beginning July 2019 is the start of the 2020 Membership Year. You should be getting your new renewal forms through the mail. If not, send your dues to Post 347, we can do your renewals on line. Our dues will remain at $35.00. Again, the 2nd District and the National set up incentives for each posts renewals, so getting your renewals in early gives our post a chance at winning awards and money.
